Tree Pruning Services

Pruning is often desirable or necessary to remove dead, diseased, or insect-infested branches and to improve tree structure, enhance vigor, and maintain safety. Proper pruning, with an understanding of tree biology, can maintain good tree health and structure while enhancing the aesthetic and economic values of your landscape.

Additionally, we have the ability to identify potential problems and take corrective actions before they become hazardous.

Tree Removal Services

Although tree removal is a last resort, there are circumstances when it is necessary. Our arborist can help decide whether or not a tree should be removed. Removal is recommended when a tree

  • is dead, dying, or considered irreparable and hazardous
  • is causing an obstruction or is crowding and causing harm to other trees and the situation is impossible to correct through pruning
  • is to be replaced by a more suitable specimen
  • has out grown its allotted area
  • should be removed to allow for construction

Plant Health Care Services

Your trees are living creatures, and like all living creatures, disease, injury and age have an effect on their health and longevity. Plant Health Care is becoming more and more important in the protection of trees in the urban environment because it is environmentally sound... and it works!

We recommend starting a Plant Health Care Program to monitor tree water requirements, health, disease and pest problems on all your trees. Your trees disease and insect problems should be monitored and treated on a regular basis by one of our Arborists. Landscapes are dynamic; monitor them constantly to keep up with both seasonal and long-term changes. A key to any Plant Health Care Program is frequent monitoring, at least every three months.

Every tree contributes to the urban environment. Trees should be protected and nurtured to preserve that contribution. Also, healthy, handsome trees add to the value of your property, just as much as unhealthy, hazardous trees detract from it.

Hazard Reduction & Consulting Services

Your trees should be monitored and inspected by one of our Certified Arborist on a regular basis for physical characteristics, health, hazard issues, defects and recommended treatments should be followed as needed. Consulting with one of our Arborists will help recognize and reduce tree hazards while increasing the safety of your property.

Please contact our Landcare division, ShowScapes, to consult with one of our landscape specialists for all your Landcare maintenance needs.
